On station still had gas at 1.55- there were around 50 cars lined up to get it that cheap.

$1.51 and up for reg in Pueblo CO.
It's irritating but am thankful not upwards 4 bucks as Europe and elsewhere. No evidence yet high speed SUV gas hogs slowing down on I-25.
Inflation adjusted fuel prices remain cheaper than other essential stuff(housing, corn flakes, med care) ref to 1955 32c per gal level.

Kansas City it's a $1.59 for regular, a little cheaper at Sam's and Costco. That's on the Kansas side of the border. In Missouri I think it's slightly cheaper since the taxes are lower.

Central IN - $1.64, $1.71, $1.79

Filled up yesterday in a Cincinnati suburb. I also paid $1.74.

From a German website, I read that the price for gasoline has hit a record high there. 1.12 euros per liter for regular, 1.14 euros per liter for super. That equates to about $4.50 a gallon.
U.S. servicemembers stationed in Germany can purchase a "booklet" of "benzine coupons" they can use at specified German gas stations. The cost right now is about $1.60 per gallon for a GI. The difference, $4.50 - $1.60 = $2.90 per gallon represents the taxes on gasoline the Germans have to pay. No wonder so many Europeans drive those souped up mopeds in lieu of a real car.

It's going for around 1.45-1.50 here in Oklahoma City. There's an automated station I go to that gives a 3 cent/gallon discount for cash and that lowers it to 1.42.

The Sheetz in Roanoke, VA is charging 1.39 for regular. The rising cost of diesel (1.65+) is outrageous, and it's making life h*ll for those truckers who own their rigs.

$1.55 for regular in the Austin area.
I still want to know WHO pockets that extra 1/10 of a cent per gallon ?
To: Ken522
Sonoma, Kalifornia, $1.89, $1.99, and $2.09, respectively.

May hit $ 3.50 a gallon before Iraq stops glowing. It's a price of freedom.

There has to be some kind of corporate plan for everyone to hike prices when Speedway does. Too bad no one can do some kind of investigation to uncover the truth about why they hike the prices once a week when they do then lower again once the weekend is over......

There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in the USA. Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low.
The reason for this is purely geographical. All the oil is in Alaska, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming, etc.--------
All the dipsticks are in Washington, DC.
.
I gotta credit my brother for this one.
