Then there are all the Freepers who believe "some" limitations are good. Each has their own idea on where that line should be drawn.

I draw the line at individual vs crew served weapons. Any person could keep and bear any weapon designed for individual use. Groups (ie:towns) could own crew served weapons, like tanks, aircraft, etc. Crew served weapons could also be individually owned if approved by Letter of Marquee.

WMD under Fed control. Actually would prefer banning WMD, but once the cat is out of the bag it is never getting back in.

So what about those re-enactor/collector types with cannons and WWII aircraft?

How many people are going to be able to afford a $6 million dollar tank or a $20 million fight-jet? Much less however many millions it'd take to put nuke together.

Moot issue. You should be able to own anything you can either make or buy, as long as your doing so does not interfere with your neighbors rights. IE, a B-52 parked in my backyard would overshadow my neighbors property by extending beyond the boundries of my property. A tank would tear up the street with regular treads on it, I'd need to pony up more cash to re-enforce local bridges and road beds to support it as well. I couldn't in good conscience steal from my neighbors (ie tax them) to pay for upgrades that I'd be the only one to benefit from.

Starting to get the picture? Crew served my patootie. Let the market decide who can afford what. Property is property. Pre-supposing a criminal action is the driving force behind all gun control legislation out there right now.
