That sort of no-nonsense response from this fool's Republican collegues is one of the biggest reasons why I respect/trust conservatives to do the right thing.

I am so glad that I left the Left behind. This sort of behavior is a badge of (ahem) honor amongst Democrats and liberals. Dems know that the majority of their base are only interested in blood when a Republican/conservative is involved and think this sort of stuff (coming from their own kind) is "cool." That's why Democrats/liberals studiously ignore or outrageously excuse bad/criminal behavior in their own ranks. Nor do they dare go out on a limb and cut off a rotting branch, even if it endangers the entire tree. (Well, maybe if the polls are in favor of such action. Even then...)

These brave Republicans you're so proud of never even spoke with Samuelian. It's a lynch mob mentality, a media circus, a witch hunt. You wouldn't believe it! Unbelievable. Meanwhile the Mayor of Fresno, Alan Autry, came out saying he won't make a statement because there's nothing to make a statement about. LOL! In addition, Shawn Steele issued a statement saying he's reserving judgment on the matter. Sheesh! What a mess. Check out my letter to the editor in today's Fresno Bee entitled "witch hunt". You can tell I'm pissed. For victory & freedom!!!
