If there are better words to describe the nature of a true American patriot, I can't find them.
My hat, and my sincere admiration, are off to you, and all military parents, spouses, and family of the brave men and women who will stand firm on those ramparts they watch defending colors that so gallantly stream, your sacrifices will be forever remembered by a grateful nation.
Eric is a little bit of every one of us now, there's a little corner in every one of our hearts were we fear for him, and with you, were we pray for him, as you do, and were we feel pride in him, like you do.
And we won't feel easy until he, like every one of our loved ones, comes home to the warm embrace of homeland, and the everlasting, enduring shelter of a mother's embrace.

That's the beautiful face we left today.....tear stained and resolute.....so PROUD to serve his country.....so sad to leave his family and friends.
