Re the President saying "that's the kindest thing you could do for me," that's so sweet and wonderful. No, I hadn't heard the story before, so it was great to hear it.
I remember that shortly after 9/11 President Bush looked into the camera and said, "I feel the prayers of the people."
I do believe he does.
Thank you so much Dutchess for bringing us this story. It's a good time to remember what we're fighting for.

What! You never heard about our trip to see our President? Ohio and Eric and myself went to Charleston, WV to hear him speak. We placed ourselves right on the ropeline up front. When he came off the stage we were right there. He hugged and kissed Ohio and shook Eric's hand and I was able to squeeze his hand as he hugged Ohio. We were all three floating out of the place. Then we had dinner before going back to my house where they spent the night with me. That's why I feel like Eric belongs to me too. He is the sweetest young man I've ever met (excluding my own of course). Ohio ain't too bad herself. She'll do.
