"Have you played yer guitar today?"

Lemme guess...the *musician's* version of, "Have you hugged your kid today?" {g}

I *definitely* plan on it a little later.
*Must* walk over to speak with the lovely gal next door about the four of us seeing "The Temptations" (live) when they visit this pissant town, next month.
*Priorities*, y'know?

I've completed my end of the deal for you...some 9 & a half hours worth of work from my 2,000+ collection of CDs.
Some (I'm certain) you've heard, some you may not have.
The work you find familiar will at least be material (I'd wager) you've not heard in many years; while, the other stuff is what I'll be most curious for your feedback.

Now, for this horrible weather (snow every-other-day!) would just let up I could get your & one other package over to the PO.
I might talk to the green eyed Irish Lass I'm going to see in a few minutes about loaning me her Volvo Cross Country in the event we get slammed with the storm they say is coming our way.
If she's not busy & gives me the go ahead, look for the *package* no later than Wed/Thurs.

...we'll talk more on this, I'm sure.

"Muddy1?"

"For the sake of argument what I've stated was not even considering whether I'm pro or con Tort Reform, OK? My point, my only point is THAT up to NOW? There's been nothing, nada, nyet in the way of Tort Reform; moreover, when there WAS a move made in the direction of TR via a mere discussion (by NewtG)?"

Looks like Dubyuh's gonna be a big winner by making Tort Reform an issue in his second term...and I believe it will be a big winner in terms of votes!!

"The "author" (NewtG) was quickly snuffed in a bloodless assasination. Is there a *link* between NewtG, Tort Reform, and Newt's fate? Who knows? Can't say there wasn't any more than one could insist there was, eh? While the *timing* sure does smell IMO. What is so hard to understand about that? That stuff's history, for crying out loud."

Is it though?! Just becuz Gingrich couldn't make Tort Reform a reality don't mean it ain't still a plausible--and NOBLE--goal!!

"Nothing even *I* could spin, distort, or lie about even if I wanted to. Listen...IF there's a move made by Dubya nationally that'll even remotely be similar to the TR he enacted in Texas?? (as Ragtime Cowgirl suggested?) You have to know I'd personally be behind Dubya a rock-solid 101%."

Time to ante up, my FRiend!!

"But if it's all the same to you? I'll just wait to see what our POTUS does; before I go getting all in a lather. Unless you've *a* suggestion you're keeping to yourself you'd care to share? {g}"

The success of Dubyuh's second term hinges upon our ability to coax him to the BoldRight on any number of issues, imho...I feel the Republican Party has more to lose by playing it safe than by aggressively pursuing a legitimate conservative agenda over the next 2-4 years!! Let's bring the fight to the DemonRATS!!
