Dude, in the mid to late 70's, Southern rock was the biggest music happening!

Bands like MTB, ABB, CDB, Molly Hatchet, Outlaws, and especially Skynyrd were absolutely HUGE. Hell, we had a Skynyrd memorial at my school after the plane crash. Every one of them could sell out Nassau Coliseum ( about 15,000) every time they came to town. It's still fairly big. The Allman's sell out 8 straight nights in the city every year.

"I would love to focus our CosmicJustice efforts on a compilation of Skynyrd, ABB, MTB, the Outlaws, ZZ Top, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, etc. if that works fer you."

I am totally down with the Southern rock theme.

Man, I'd love to make it down on the first, but I'm playing in Boston that night. It's a BIG money gig, and they are tough to come by these days.LOL. You know, gotta come home and pay the rent!

You have my word that I'm gonna come down to your neck of the woods as soon as the schedule permits. I wanna meet the DC FReepers and jam with the boys at the Mudcave Annex! The people down there are so dedicated to the cause I feel like I'm livin' in the wrong place.(No offense to my fellow NY FReepers!)

BTW. Is there enough action there for me to make a livin'?.I only do one thing real well, ya know.LOL

Lemme know when that's happenin' and I'd roadtrip up fer it in a heartbeat...heck, we might even convince Landru to leave his beloved state of Indianny fer that, although he's already seen Dickie Betts last fall...MUD

Good deal...I e-mailed yer comments to the BigMan and Fingers/Mordecai/Time and will tell the rest of the fellas that we've got a focus. In Black XVI, I'll bump you to most of the SouthernRock songs I've FReeped to date...there's gotta be 50 or more at least to choose from.

Take the money and run, dude!! Where in Boston are you playing that night?! We can put out the word to some FReepers as well as a few buddies I know up there. Also, I told my good buddy who lives on Long Island about yer band and he wants to know when yer gonna be in or around Manhattan again.

Hmmmm...then again, I can just get him to look at "The Cosmic Box Concert Schedule"...LOL!!

I don't know how y'all Northeastern America conservatives stand it with all DemLib'rals controllin' stuff up there...LOL!! However, yer welcome to come down and hang out whenever yer schedule permits--which I notice doesn't seem to be very practical on most weekends.

Between Richmond, Virginia Beach, Nags Head, and DeeCee, I reckon y'all could find plenty of work, especially if we could git the Limbaugh crowd interested!!

FReegards...MUD
