Guys and gals,

I've got a good one for you...

The CanAlien, Peter Jennings was out here in Portland moderating a debate about Iraq last night.

On the right side was Lars Larson. On the LEFT was our former socialist Congresswoman, Elizabeth Furse who was previously a citizen of South Africa.

Lars Larson did an excellant job, so naturally Jennings had to step in to help Furse...(keep an eye on Lars, I think he will be on the national talk show circuit soon )

Anyway, get this:
Elizabeth Furse said something like," What right do we have to tell other people how to run their countries?

Lars pointed out to Furse that as a Congresswoman, she had been quite the activist against aparthied in South Africa, had she changed her stance on that?

Game, Set, Match....

So I am at the clinic having my "run" today, and since I can't get Rush there, I pulled out my newly bought "Savage Nation" (from Books-a-Million NOT B & N) and read it for about three hours. WOW! It is fantastic; Savage has a delicious writing style that chews up the RAT Commie-Nazis like justfred and spits them out. He pulls no punches. Hope y'all get a chance to read this book!

"Top 10 Classic Sex Symbols"

"#1. Marilyn Monroe
Abandoned as a child, the victim of abuse in foster homes, Norma Jean Mortensen rose from poverty to become the single most celebrated movie star of all-time. She started out as a swimsuit model and caught the eye of tycoon Howard Hughes. She had bit parts in small movies before taking the acting lessons that eventually drove her forward. Being the first Playboy centerfold in 1953, she later starred in the comedy classics Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Seven Year Itch and a series of successful films. Adored by millions worldwide, her second marriage to baseball great Joe DiMaggio played like a fairytale but dark clouds were on the horizon. She began to drink and take pills and her screen work got scarce. She was involved with both President John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert, and was named Number One Sex Star of the 20th Century in 1999 by Playboy. Her alleged suicide merely added to her mystique and legend."

"Best Quotes:
"The trouble with censors is they worry if a girl has cleavage. They ought to worry if she hasn't any."
"A sex-symbol becomes a thing, I just hate being a thing. But if I'm going to be a symbol of something I'd rather have it [be] sex than some other things we've got symbols of."

"Books-a-Million NOT B & N"

I'm a loyal Books-A-Million shopper, too, and have NEVER been to Barnes and Noble!!

And I do like Michael Savage when I get the rare opportunity to hear him, which is usually while on the road.

"Is 30 still young?"

Considering the FACT that I'm still young at 39 and fully expect to be FReepin' 'til I'm Strom Thurmond's age, I reckon 30 qualifies fer "young", even in Ireland...MUD

What happened?

You lose the number?

BTW. Savage is a riot. I get him in NY, but he gets preempted by hockey and college basketball of all things.
