Let's not forget the real story behind the covering of the statues. The original covering began long before Ashcroft under Janet Reno. All Ashcroft did was decide to buy the curtains for less than Reno was leasing them for every month or whenever. The media (and DemoncRATs) made the whole thing up about Ashcroft deciding to cover up the statues (and now you know the rest of the story).

Thank you, I didn't know that. I do not condone the covering up of statues, thank heaven Americans don't control the statues in Italy. But I do agree that AG Ashcroft had every right to nip at the bud the antics of mainstream media. But he got blamed anyway, didn't he?!
