I'm sorry, I misspoke-- the Japanese who were here long before any troubles occurred lived on meager portions of rice, fish, and whatever they could manage at rattlesnake island. They contributed to making this nation exactly what makes America great. My father landed at green beach, IWO JIMA, 5th Marine Division, Pioneer, and he never overtly held a grudge, to the point he would dislike even this conversation.
I'm not sure if this answers your question, but I do not see the level of patriotism among the current American Muslims rising to that of the Japanese/Americans--Like I said "Apples and Oranges"
