The news broke on KFWB news radio in L.A. about 3:15 in '91. I was taking a make-up test after school, and my mom picked me up about 3:30. She told me that they just started broadcasting the info on her way to get me.

I remember being at my 2nd job at the Bait Shop here in Mn. (ex took me to the cleaners...) and watching it there. No one came in all night after that......
