I think we first got news of the Gulf War starting at 6:55 EST time last time and Iraq is what - 7 hours ahead of us? I can't remember - CRS disease.

I think Blair thought he could be bring the French on board if Powell did his thing at the UN. Now that the French have done the same thing to Blair that they previously did to Powell, Blair is ready to tell them to go to hell.

By all means a coup would have to be supported. :-)

Why?

Can we attack while the UN inspectors are there? It wouldn't be a good PR move, having them all blowed up. But I bet we could extract them with about 15 minutes notice.

I just saw the same headline that Druge has on the front page of the Sunday's Daily Telegraphy in the UK... but there's nothing on the website yet...

Yeah, I am a little fuzzy on the details. I just remember it was somewhere around 3 to 4:00 p.m. cuz I was driving down to LA from Sacramento when the radio spit out the news.

Drudge is now downplaying this and posting a story (the link doesn't work) that Princess Di's former husband is opposed to war in Iraq.

I agree with you; I think the no moon strategy is over-rated and would miss out on the more important tactic of surprise.

I dont think we should attack yet.
wait for him to do something.
then when and if he does, the US and Israel can nuke them into nothingness.
This would also work well with the left scumbags. no matter what we find if we attack, they will NEVER be convinced to change their minds.
Letting Saddam do something stupid will let us say "told you so" and turn the keys.

Can we attack while the UN inspectors are there? Why not? There will be many foreigners there, including American television crews. I imagine we'll give them notice that we don't think they should remain.
They'll probably stay.

I heard about the new moon theory, but the cruise missles and 117s don't need no stinking new moon. Plus as we did before soften them up with a few weeks of bombing the moon them.

The moon will not be dictating the war...........
It may be desirable to have a darker moon, but heck, the moon doesn't matter at all if it's cloudy out............... !!!!!!
