Croatian Nationalism is not equivalent to "Ustashism" like Serbian nationalism is not equivalent to the Ljotic brand.

It's a common misperception.

As for WW2 collaboration, the Croatian puppet state was divided into two zones of occupation, one Italian and one German.

The Serbian state was under German military occupation.

This isn't an attempt to equalize the level of collaboration, please refrain from making assumptions like that.

The point I'm making is that the picture in the Balkans isn't black and white, as has been portrayed on this discussion.

What's important is that there are new enemies and new alliances at stake now. History is the poison of the Balkans, whether it be the slaughter of Serbs in WW2, or the slaughter of Bosnians, or Macedonians, etc.

The lines have shifted.

Those in the know in both Belgrade and Zagreb see that.

Visionaries need to be recognized, and history needs to be tossed.

Don't become a prisoner of history.

Radical Islam is the clear and present danger.

The more I think about it, the more I think Tudman screwed up the deal between him and Milosevic. Guess he couldn't resist the temptation to 'defeat' the Krajina Serbs. When Slobo realized that Tudman wasn't going to respect their agreement and further had direct political and military support of the US and Germany he backpedaled. Tried damage delimitation, by forcing the Bosnian Serbs to accept the proposed peace plan, but failed. Finally, the Krajina Serbs were ordered to withdraw and he reached at least to establish the Bosnian Serb Republic at Dayton. Or maybe he was just a treasonous coward without courage and vision for his nation. Who knows.

Why then is Zagreb supporting the muslim terrorist KLA and the albanian demands for an independent Kosovo?

The enemy of my enemy......guess the visionaries in Zagreb have only one vision: a humiliated and defeated Serbia on her knees. My advice to them: read some history books and don't forget the Serbs have not been knocked out - they are waiting in their corner for a better coach and the gong for the next round.
