Fifty Awful Things About The ModeratorsThanks for the link.
I was aware of some of the rumors, of course,
but didn't realize the total depth and complexity.
I suppose that means that Dog Gone can't be a Shadow Mod next year,
probably too much paperwork involved for him to get a security clearance.
Oh well, it was just an idea.
Thanks again!
To: Willie Green
Yeah, it looks a little complicated for me, and I'm not sure I'm quite devious enough. Still, thanks for the recommendation, Willie.

What's your problem, newbie? May have been mentioned, but the poster is not a newbie.
In fact is more venerable than ChuckHam

Cheer up, I'm sure they must offer "devious training" for new hires.
You just gotta be old enough before you can put in an application.

Is Dog Gone a Shadow Moderator? Maybe, maybe not, but then, he wouldn't know it unless we chose to let him know. Maybe we've told him, maybe not. If he admits it or not, it does not matter, because he is what he is, and only the some of the Illimimods know for sure.

I should definitely get my training wheels as a Sidebar Moderator, although I haven't seen one in months and suspect they've all been banned by the cruel and inhumane Admin Moderators in order to prevent a coup.

The Story
Zot (a.k.a. Zachary T. Paleozogt) is a hero from the "far-flung future of 1965" where all the old hopeful versions of the "future" imagined throughout the 19th and 20th Century somehow came true. Every gadget and convenience from Jules Verne to George Lucas is alive and well on Zot's world.
When Zot travels to our Earth, he meets the more cynical Jenny and discovers a less hopeful, but no less interesting world. The relationship between the two characters -- and the two worlds -- would become the lynch pin of the series for much of its 36 issue run.
Zot had a huge cast of characters on both worlds, and dealt with every theme imaginable, including technology, escapism, sexuality, youth, intolerance, disillusionment, and always, always, the Future.

although I haven't seen one in months and suspect they've all been banned by the cruel and inhumane Admin Moderators in order to prevent a coup.Yeah, I remember when the Admin Mods moved them to "Chat" last year some time.
But if you read their homepage, it looks like JimRob rescued them and gave them some additional powers (although they still can't ZOT!)
Anyway, click here and you'll see a Sidebar Mod posted a couple replies just yesterday.
They may not be as powerful and devious as Admin Mods, but I think they usually work more clandestinely in the background. It's a way to get your feet wet, anyway.
To: Willie Green
Well, maybe it's more sinister than that. Perhaps the Sidebar Moderators are simply laying low, looking weak, impotent, posting occasionally, and like forgotten stepchildren, but secretly undermining every attempt of the Admin Moderators to ban MurryMom. Hmmmm.

Uh-oh...
I just read the Sidebar Mod's homepage more closely...
Looks like there's also somebody called
Lead Moderator who has never posted anything at all!
This is starting to get spooky!
To: Willie Green
Hmmm, maybe he only posts in that sneaky white font.

Hmmm, maybe he only posts in that sneaky white font.I dunno.
But I wouldn't go around poking my nose anywhere to find out.
The title sounds too ominous to me.
If Admin Mods can ZOT! there's no telling what a "Lead" Moderator is capable of.
Makes me shudder just thinking about it.
