Funny, I thought that a pedophile was a person (either gender) who experienced sexual attraction to children (either gender, exclusive or inclusive). If he's sexually attracted to boys, then he sounds like a pedophile. I'm wondering to what 'legal definition' he refers by which he isn't a pedophile.

Yeah, I thought that was strange, also. Actually, I expected just the opposite response (I'm not, but the law says I am).

The only thing I can think of is that the legal definition is "sexual" attraction, and he thinks of it as a "love" attraction. This is further supported by the "Germany/romantic" statement.

Twisted, I know, but that's my guess.
