No one I know on here refers to Pres Bush like that. I don't think all Canadians are in support of your Government but maybe you should all take a lesson from Mad Ivan when discussing American foreign policy.

I have a theory: North Korea is using US backdoor channels to try and distract us from the present mission (Iraq). And the current dynamic is that DEMs are providing feedback to Kim via Richardson to step up the rhetoric. Reason: it gives the Hillarys an excuse to point out another emerging threat that "Bush is not addressing."
As Freepers, however, we know that if tables were turned, the Rats would be screaming about Iraq.
This just illstrates their blind quest for power, no matter how damaging to US interests.

Umm . . . the answer would be yes i think. they were rebuilding their nukes all along behind the worlds backs and that is the reason they got mentioned in the axis of evil. and they obviously had some reason to build the nukes . . . ie. blackmail, war, who knows, Kim il-jong is an absolute physco.
they're having an internal crisis right now with the gov. not being able to sufficiently brainwash their population (citizens are apparently waking up to the fact that they have miserable lives and it's probably their leaders fault) so they have to feed it with war talk (right out of orwell's 1984). the leaders know they will be overthrown if they can't keep the population's mind on something other than their lack of food.
so, anyways, i think yes for the sake of holding on to their power they are being forced to start spewing all this bs about "the coming imperialist invasion" etc. and it probably has little to do with "Georgie's" speech.

North Korea is to the Red Chinese what Cuba was to the Soviet Union. Ditto AlQaeda to Iraq.

I am seriously doubting that N.Korea has nukes now. I'm beginning to wonder if Saddam does already have the nuclear
capability and a deal was made with N.Korea for some of the technology. N.Korea is putting up one
h@ll of a fight to keep our attention on them. Sure does look fishy all of a sudden.

Oh no! If only we'd been nicer, they would've given up their nuclear ambitions! You know, just like Hitler did.

We should bomb the daylights out of the N. Korean nuke factory and tell them to shut up already.

Too obvious...
OTOH, a GBU-29 or two would be pretty deniable. The B-2 can drop `em off on the way to Iraq.

Dear Peoples Republic of North Korea,
We in the United States are terribly distraught over the sudden accidental explosion of your nuclear plant. As we all know, starting and stopping these plants is the most critical part of their operation. If there is anything that the United States can do to assist you in the cleanup and control of nuclear contamination, please feel free to ask for our assistance.
Your Friend,
GWB

"We will see, after interrogations, where this leads us. I think we will be surprised at the global reach of North Korea."
WHY IS THERE NOT MORE REPORTING ON THIS. YOU ARE ABSOLUTLEY CORRECT. NORTHY KOREA WOULD BE HAPPY TO GIVE WEAPONS TO TERRORISTS, AND THE TERRORISTS WOULD BE GLAD TO GET THEM. WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS.
