I stayed hoping to hear the judgment, and of course not realizing it would go on so long. We had two 10-minute breaks.

It was fairly interesting at times, except when the NYCLU lawyer was up there being fuzzy and repeating himself.

Part of the subtext was that the lefties were trying to prove that the NYPD approves "cultural" events but not "political" events, so they kept bringing up the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Some of us have marched in that parade, and know that you must be in a certain place at a certain time, and barring camera hogs like Hillary, everything moves like clockwork. This, in contrast, was a bunch of unknowns: unknown numbers of marchers, buses, volunteers. They hope that it will chain-react into hundreds of thousands, as it says on their website. Sure. That sounds just like the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Uh, yeah... sounds JUST like it! NOT

As hellinahandcart said above, you deserve a medal and/or a drink to have suffered through four hours of that cr*p! Thanks for all the 'inside' info, though.
