Actions such as these have unintended consequences on a micro and macro level. The micro consequences are that young men can't find wives since the girls were killed off (a rather natural consequence of such immoral acts). The macro implications are a bunch of frustrated young men running around with nothing to divert their attention, which often causes trouble for the home government and its neighbors.
