[history]
Michael Savage is egotistical, opinionated and profane. He yells at callers to his radio show, "The Savage Nation," and hangs up on them -- even some who agree with him.
He's the son of an immigrant who bashes immigrants, a former academic who rips academia, a well-heeled professional who strikes a chord with the common people.

I'm sure publishing this article damaged the delicate psyches at the oh so important San Fransicko Comical.
Heh heh.

I know this meant a lot to him because it's from his "own back yard."
Congratulations Dr. Savage!

Howard is a libertarian. When he was going to run for Governor of NY, he was a Libertarian. How the 'L' stands today, I don't know.

Doesn't really matter, I still think Stern is a piece of trash.

But the Libs have no problems with pukes like Howard Stern. They would yesterday when Howard was PRAISING Bush on his Iraq policy.

Doesn't really matter, I still think Stern is a piece of trash. Howard Stern is indeed a filthy, disgusting piece of trash - who sees women only in terms of how easily their breasts can be groped. He's a lowlife of lowlife's - and he appeals only to like-minded lowlifes.

Talkers magazine, which follows the talk radio industry, listed Savage as the fifth most popular host in the country, behind only Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Dr. Laura Schlessinger and Howard Stern. Hannity is #2? How absurd. Not an original thought in that man's head, and a totally ineffective debater. I am amazed. I find his fratboy drivel unlistenable.

Savage was having a blast reading exerpts from this today!

Eventually, the tribal chiefs turned on Charles Savage, killed him and all of his children, and boiled his bones because they didn't want his spirit to return to earth, Michael Savage says. This is an excellent model for what should be done with the Bin Ladens.

Savage rocks!

Amazingly, this was not a hit piece.

Savage rocks! Ugh.
They picked him up in Boston several months ago, and the next time I'm able to sit through 3 minutes of his show will be the first. Honestly, I find him absolutely awful - completely unbearable.

I will never understand the appeal of someone whose schtick consists of ranting about whatever subject pops into his head...and the vast majority of talk radio hosts, to a greater or lesser extent, use this format. That's why I don't listen to talk radio any more. Even if I agree with the host ideologically, I can't stand to listen to him. That includes Savage, Rush, and just about everybody else on the dial, with the exception of Liddy, who at least has some wit and a sense of humor.
Is there ANYONE out there who actually brings in guests to talk about relevant issues WITHOUT constantly injecting HIMSELF into the discussion?
