CNN just announced that President Bush will speak at 4:30. That's all they said. Didn't sound like it was previously scheduled.

Thanks for the heads-up.
IMHO, he's going to thank Powell for his great job on the presentation yesterday; he's going to reiterate the main points; he's going to list the countries who have announced themselves in support of our activities; he's going to address the topic of inspections by saying we have given specifics to the inspectors, and Saddam's last chance is next week.
He will then announce a date on which he will address a joint session of Congress.
Just my guess.

Bush would ask the inspectors to get out firstPerhaps...but "onside kicks" have been done before...
Especially since there's a leak on the inspection team...

Slick Willie will be on Larry King tonight for the entire hour.Makes me sick to see bubba on Larry King on Reagan's birthday. What a slap in the face! If clinton tries to talk about what a great president Reagan was and what an awful president Bush is, I'm going to puke my guts out - and write a very nasty email to old Larry.

If it were me, Helen would be banished to the outer darkness. She should be volunteered to go interview some of those looney, peace-nik human shields...some good old-fashioned on-the-scene reporting.

Bush and Powell have provided us with all the information
needed. I predict Bush will react to Iraq's response, which is
to say the time has passed and that Sadaam continues the deception at his peril.

I like your speech. That is my choice. Make the UN even more irrevelant.
To: r9etb
Sounds about right to me. Let's hope that's the case.

Big announcement in the afternoon. After the Dow closes. Significant? Perhaps. I just know that some Freepers might read something into that.

Jim Angle is saying Bush has called some reporters into the Roosevelt Room to make some "comments" on Powell's speech yesterday.

Good for him. I think he's too nice to her letting her run her mouth like she does. I'm sure he skewered her in a polite sort of way.

That forecast can't be right. The chance of metallic precipitation has got to be more than 0%....
