A report the Iraq is moving toward the Kuwait border has surfaced and I would imagine a threat from Washinton is in order, This is the same senario as in the mid 90s! Saddam is pulling the same crap again. He can do nothing without air superiority, which he is very far from having. Not in that terrain and climate.

LOL! Are you going to watch the freak? Michael Jackson that is, not clinton!

why the new moon?
It's totally dark - and our guys have superiority at night.
By the way it's now 28 hours since Powell finished at the UN yesterday... anyone note the 1991 Marlin Fitzwater timeline mentioned in another thread today?

ABC News said at the top of the hour that Bush is going to thank Powell and repeat his points.

Corzine (D-MJ) on Cavuto just said basically 'time's up',
Powell did a fine job yesterday, and that there's no need for another vote in the Senate for action against Iraq !

I noticed Helen bash Ari today about the war being all about oil. She will have to be removed from conferences very soon. It is becoming an enbarrassment for the nation. Out of seniority she gets to ask the first question, and it is as if the Iraqi Press Secretary is asking the questions (perhaps worse). I think they should withdraw her credentials during the first week of the war, when it will garner the least attention. It's time. She has long since abandoned the objectivity which is required to be a "correspondent".

I would assume that if we were bombing Baghdad, cable news would be on the air with it in a heartbeat. However, if we're bombing outside Baghdad, they may not be able to find out.
Usually, though, the President makes an official speech to the nation from the Oval Office. THAT'S the one I'm waiting for.
