You must never enter a democratic contest with someone who does not believe in democracy, or the rule of law that makes democracy meaningful.

If you are faced with an opponent who does not believe in democracy, who is willing to rule by fraud and by force, you must recognize the reality of your situation. You are no longer living under the rule of law, you have passed into a revolutionary circumstance, perhaps without ever realizing it, perhaps against your will, but you have to see it for what it is or you are lost.

The dictatorship does not begin the day he steals the election, it begins the day he no longer considers himself bound by law. To be clear, it began the day he abrogated the constitution, it was confirmed when he wrote the new one and imposed it on the country, and it was consummated when his lackeys gave him the right to rule by decree.

You do not engage in democracy with such people. They must be driven from power, imprisoned, exiled, destroyed. Venezuela must not look for her salvation at the ballot box until the rule of law has been reinstated.

Faced with their current situation, they must prepare to seize the palace themselves, purge the government of Chavez' henchmen, and return their country to the legitimate constitution.

The Venezuelan people are not innocent victims in all this, Chavez was clear from the beginning what his intentions were. But now it is up to them to take back control of their country. It will not be easy or safe. There are people now living who will not live to see the outcome. But they must act, and act soon, before it is too late. The cost of taking back their country will not be less later than it is now. The cost will only increase if they wait.

Chavez was clear from the beginning what his intentions were

He just lied about how it would be done. Namely, the loss of freedom for Venezuelans and the right to rule for Chavez.
