Anyone want to cover Sen. Hatch's Miguel Estrada hearings on C-Span2? Sen. Hatch is loaded for Dem. bear. He's wonderful.
"The NY Times editiorial board has been amazingly inaccurate." Sen. Orrin Hatch.

Dill or half-sour?
Yup, saw Biden make that very point, and make it emphatically on CSPAM last night. Have you been coaching him?

Sen. Jeff Sessions on floor of Senate now saying he wanted to hear what the opposition to Estrata nomination, but there is no one there!
To: 2 Kool 2 Be 4-Gotten
He said that he heard from many Europeon diplomats and citizens that Bush was to much of a "cowboy", and they wished that Powell was Pres. Of course, Biden said he sympathized with them, and also wished that Bush had agreed to Kyoto, the World Court, AMB treaty, and so on.
He implied that he was embarrassed that his country wanted to go to war alone, and that the US should NOT be as powerful as we are.
He also implied that Bush was a warmonger with no regard for innocents.
He is scum.

Powell is talking about N Korea. (Thanks freepers for the C-Span link!)
talking about how the Koreans kept building nukes after the Clinton treaty signed. Powell says we are prepared to talk with them but we aren't willing to panic about their tactics. And will take entire intn'l community working together to do this.

Powell is great on this issue of N Korea---saying we don't have to react immediately to their tauntings (pp)
Others (China, S. Korea, etc.) also have responsibility in NK situation

Some Weasle is Asking Powell if in retrospect we did something over past couple of years (e.g. since Bush, Axis of evil terms) to aggravate the situation.
Powell responding NK started it by their non-compliance. That the Bush admin studied the prob over a year and GW made the decision to take a firm stance with the NK's
