I want their blood for the crimes they have committed. You want their blood in the same sense of retirbution. The difference is that we have RULES to follow before we let slip our dogs of War. We got our Constitutionally legal authorization for force 3 times. That would satisfy any founding father in these circumstances. All instating the phase "war" would do it make it impossible for us to legally interrogate al-Queda, and placate those that want to use our rules against us. Better to interrogate them and save lives than to bind us to the Geneva Convention and satisfy a domestic fringe.
