Frightening. I know an allergist who dropped Medicare for this very reason. I wonder if he'll remain unaffected under this new act?

Not if he practices in Texas. Our State legislature wrote a Privacy Act more restrictive than the Federal law, which, in effect forces all Texas medical "providers" to be "compliant."
