Tips for watching the filibuster:

While your listening to Ed blather on if your using the stand alone Real Player (im using Basic 8) you can watch some pleasent visualizations by hitting the visualization button in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Then you can use the arrow buttons in the lower left of you picture to cycle through the visualizations. I prefer Annabelle the Sheep. She rocks back and forth as Kennedy rambles.

Of course I wouldn't reccommend listening entirely to Kennedy either. So I am listening to some new gangster rap on Winamp at the same time. (yeah.. yeah.. I know it'll rot your brain, but it works for me).

That fire visualization would have been great for Hatch's last speech.

Get this!

I did a search on Filibuster and one of the results was for People for the American Way...lefties opposed to Estrada. They had a button you could mash to send a fax to your senators. I figured I'd use their dime to send my Senators a favorable comment on Estrada, so I mashed the button. There was a list of states for one to select from....except my state (Alabama) isn't listed!

LOL! We have two GOP senators, so Alabama doesn't even exist in their orbit!
