Did you hear an Iraqi official speak the other day..could have been "Comb-Over Aldouri. The statement was in part:"If the US attacks Iraq, our military will experience the largest "Mass Catastrophe" we have ever seen." Now if they can say "Mass Catastrophe"..does that mean they have weapons of mass destruction thru their own admittance using those words? If you can find the quote would like to see it.

One of the problems with being the sole, remaining superpower, is most other UN members can rely on the US to do their dirtywork. They can engage in handwringing, etc, all the while realizing the repercussions are nill. Was the US correct in announcing she would go it alone if necessary? Perhaps, but that only plays into their hands and allows them more room to waffle, IMO.
