I think you're correct. The C-Rats prefer only old white guys, or so it would appear from long experience.

I'm outraged by the Democrats' plan to force Hispanics to sit in the back of the bus. They bypassed a Texas Hispanic for Nancy Pelosi, and it's obvious that the Democrat party is pushing white females and pandering to the female vote, and forcing minorities to wait in line.

If they wish to filibuster, make them engage in a real filibuster....24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Let this be the image seen by America.
Democrats violating the Constitution.

Fine by me; this is just more ammo for us here in N.C. against Edwards.
We have a very high Hispanic population.
But they HAVE to talk!

So the Dims will fight the first Hispanic nominee for the United States Supreme Court?
Who's setting strategy for them --- Carl Rove?

This will be Frist's first major test as Majority Leader, and we'll see if this latest GOP majority has grown any balls. The first indicator will be whether Frist forces the Democrats to actually take the well and speak -- or if he just caves into the mere threat of filibuster, a la Lott.

This continues a pattern of racism by the Democrat Party since its founding.

Haven't Hispanics just about replaced African-Americans as the top minority group in the US?
Once again Tiny Tom is engaged in the "politics of self destruction".
You go guy!!!

Nonetheless, Democrats argue he is too conservative for the bench. Loose translation: Democrats argue he is not a Democrat.

Please, please B'rer Fox, don't throw me in the Briar Patch. I cannot believe that even the Democrats are foolish enough to filibuster against the nomination of a member of the fastest growing demographic group in the United States to the Court of Appeals.

I called both my senators yesterday about this planned filibuster. Both pleaded ignorance and said they hadn't heard about any such thing. I told them that even if they don't vote for Estrada - which they should - they should certainly not support a filibuster. They said they would pass it along.
Unfortunately, my words of wisdom will fall on deaf ears - Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell are my senators. (Hanging my head in shame).
