Russia denied that it had missles in Cuba. Stephensen asked them if they wanted to correct their statements. The Russians said no. Stephensen showed pictures of missles in Cuba and the Russians working with the Cubans.

In 1962, Adelai Stevenson smoked the Soviets in front of the UN Security Council re: their assertions they weren't shipping missiles to Cuba. Stevenson whipped out the 1962 equivalent of a Power Point presentation to make an airtight case that they were.

In the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, US ambassador to UN Stevenson produced this --

...which was proof positive of Soviet intermediate missile installation on Cuban soil. Stevenson demanded a response from the Soviet delegate who stalled. Stevenson told him he was prepared to wait for the Russian's reply "until hell freezes over." It must have truly galled Stevenson to have to do this, since he was a well-known habitual apologist for communists.
