BALTIMORE (AP) - A man charged in a vigilante-style shooting of three boys he said were selling drugs from his front steps pleaded guilty Tuesday. William Banks, 60, had been charged with attempted murder, but he pleaded guilty to reduced charges. Under the agreement, he will be sentenced to five to 10 years in jail, prosecutors said.

Odd ... When cops kill drug dealers it's usually a "good shoot". But when peasants shoot drug dealers, they go to jail, even when the shooting victims survive.

If Banks had had a badge, he'd of got a medal.

This is disgusting. There are REAL criminals in Baltimore who never get sentenced.

Now this is mighty sad. Where were the cops when this man complained of little druggies on his front steps?
Regardless, there are many other alternatives than taking the lives of unlawful/unruly kids.
I mean, there's a chain of command that he could have followed if not getting a response from the local cops. He had options here other than killing bad kids.
It's very sad.

"...the boys, ages 11, 13, and 18..."That's 2 BOYS, and 1 ADULT.
I wonder if O'Reilly would get it right?

The kids weren't killed - note that the charges lodged against the man included "attempted murder". From the article, it isn't even clear that the kids were injured, though I'd guess that's pretty likely.
