The CA-GOP: we'll show you stupid!

If the CA GOP is stupid, then so is the CA Dem party. This IS a bipartisan effort, with Pat Caddell, former pollster for Jimmy Carter, working on the other side of the political spectrum. It isn't just GOP sour grapes.

The Dems can afford to cleanse their party. They can replace Davis with a very strong Dem who will run for re-election in 2006.

I'm not saying it's sour grapes. It's just a bad use of time. The GOP lost everything last November. Focus on winning a statewide race-- any race. Start with Boxer's seat.
