I just read a thread that talked about a former GOP state legislator spearheading this, so it's a GOP effort as far as I'm concerned. The goals of any anti-tax group or whatever that officially is going after this recall are the same generally as the GOP. The time to beat Davis was November 5, 2002.

Bustamante or Feinstein or any number of Democrats would replace Davis. This is an awful waste of time.

Focus on beating Boxer.
