Maybe somebody (who, me?) ought to start a FReepers Cool Actors list of Hollywood names (actors and producers, etc.) who are out-of-the-closet NON-lefties. You know, you never see conservative actors drumming up petitions or going on big crusades to get people to join their bandwagon, like you do with liberals. That's why I think it's not particularly hypocritical to fawn over out-of-the-closet conservative/libertarian/Republican actors while chastizing folks like Rob Reiner, Streisand, and Jane Fonda.

FWIW, I also think it's good to patronize the movies of Hollywood folks who've remained apolitical. That, too, is attractive in an actor!
