This alludes to Saudi intelligence, a governamental function.

I believe our government is still clinging to the notion (which may have validity) that there are "good" Saudis and "bad" Saudis in their power structure.

At the end of the day, what does it matter if the intelligence and funding to exact catastrophe on us comes from Saudi Arabia ?

Watch for the Saudi royals to flee en masse to Switzerland, just as they did on 9-11.

I doubt there are many illusions about Saudi within the higher circles of the Bush administration. The point is that we are not ready to deal with them. When you are attacking one hornet's nest it is best to leave the rest alone until that one is taken care of.
