This report is after the raid:

Negotiations between the Justice Department and Paul, who had fled to Brazil after being indicted on stock fraud charges, are going well enough that he's expected to return to the U.S. in the coming months - a development which could signal a full blown federal probe into his allegations.

Newsmax - 07/29/02

And this one was before the raid:

During the past two months, JW client Peter Paul has met with officials from the Justice Department in Brazil to tell all he knows about Senator Clinton's campaign finance scam.

Looks like they are demonstrating interest to me...

The idea of having Hillary Clinton in the senate armed forces committee is

That is one caveat I have.

Klayman says he is not running a partisan organization

He tells the truth. He's runnning a for-Klayman-profit organization. I rue the day I shook his hand, and told him how much I appreciated him.

Klayman has an agenda, and it has a place amongst those seekers of the truth.

Winning and losing is based upon many loopholes in the law,
but Larry has always helped the truth emerge. The legal system is corrupt and Larry is not buying into it.

I for one support Klayman most of the time.

From 10/02/02:

(EVOTE.COM) - A jailed ex-fundraiser for Senator Hillary Clinton was quoted this week as saying that he will be "back soon" for his day in court over a fundraiser he once held for the former First Lady.

Jailed Fundraiser Could Be Problem For Mrs. Clinton

Also, just found the following...

A suit alleging that former President Bill Clinton, U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, and two associates conspired to undermine campaign finance laws was properly dismissed by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge on the ground that the plaintiff is a fugitive from justice, the Court of Appeal for this district has ruled.

In an unpublished opinion Tuesday, Div. Two agreed with Judge Aurelio Munoz that the fugitive disentitlement doctrine, which prevents a litigant from using the court system for his or her benefit while avoiding prosecution or imprisonment, applies to Peter F. Paul.

The doctrine has been applied to various types of proceedings initiated by a fugitive, including criminal appeals and writ petitions and civil suits unrelated to the criminal proceedings.

The jurist also rejected the contention that Paul, whose attorneys claim he is cooperating with U.S. authorities, is in the “constructive custody” of the United States. As long as he continues to resist extradition, Nott said, Paul is considered a fugitive.

Court Upholds Dismissal of Fugitive’s Lawsuit Against Clintons - 12/12/02

However, this was a civil case that should not affect the agreement of leniency for cooperation on the criminal case against him.

Klayman has an agenda

He sure does. Continuing to solicit donations with his "victory is just around the corner" promotions.

Games played by the 'powerful' elected officials were not a part of the founding father's vision. Read the constitution and it will become blindingly clear that the whole idea of this Republic was honest government BY THE PEOPLE. It has degradated to this kind of game playing between the 'powerful'. It's time WE THE PEOPLE took the 'powerful' down a notch or three.

We want our Republic back! A Republic founded on law, equality, justice, honor, virtue, and raw individual freedom. It's time to get pissed, people! Take back our Republic so that a plague like the Clintons can never, ever, infect us again. If the plague does come again, I don't know if the country can survive it.

Or, we can just sit by and watch Atlas shrug. It's our choice. We, at FR fight the good fight everyday, but the word must "go out, to friend and foe alike", save the Republic or be a slave to government. A huge majority of Americans will save this great Republic, but, they must be informed as to the happenings that are going on.

We are at the crossroads, the fork in the road, the critical decision point. I have confidence in the American people to do the right thing. So I speak my mind and point of view whenever and wherever I find it necessary. Fight a socialist with fact at a party and he/she fades into the chip dip. Kill them with facts and a sound logical arguement. They scream and yell and finally are asked to leave, by the host. A hint here: stay calm, on target and in focus. Shut them down at every turn of their lies, it's your duty to your country.

Exactly so. Clinton micromanaged his vendettas personally. The best position for Bush to take at this point is to let the duly constituted authorities go ahead and do their jobs, without fear or favor.
