Your website only says that Democrats won the legislature though Republicans won greater numbers of votes in legislative races for their respective districts. Nowhere does it say that Lincoln won the popular vote, which he physically could not have seeing that there was no popular vote for his name as a candidate on the ballot. Oh. Tell me again then, how Douglas won the debates?
