This one is scaled...

to fit into the other 640x480 AF photo. The asymmetry in the AF photo is due to the orbiters yaw and the resulting temp buildup on the rightside. This is how it looks:

To get this I cut out the scaled pic overlay it, then scan it. If you make your changes to the scaled one, half.jpg, then post it I'll overlay it. You'll should print one then cut it out and overlay it. If you want the long axis, or the wingspan changed give me a %, + or -.

Xbob, To get the white overlay, I used the backside of half.jpg. To locate the doors and other features, I traced over them on the dark side, then flipped it and drew over the impressions.

There seems to be a slight discrepancy in image size.

Now, could you use my diagram, with the horiontal support chunks out. Budge posted it for me on his site, image #50.

And attempted to size and align the chunks, with the wheel well.

If you wish the original jpg to fool with, I can e-mail it to you. It is a jpg of the underside tile layout, which I made from the pdf of the tile layout, trying to size it to the telescope image. I just did that by eye though, and don't remember what expansion I used. But I did attempt to make an acurate chunk design, based on thee longitudinal/horizontal spars, and the locations based on the tile layout. I think I also have the original horizontal chunk out jpg, before I rotated it.

The only graphics tool I have is MS photo editor, so I can';t do much with it.
