Note his style. He made the statement Saturday, then withdrew. Will appear tomorrow, probably briefly, then no doubt, will leave that stage. Unlike what one of his predecessors would have done. Libs were in fear he would use this once-in-a-lifetime "opportunity" to become the "big healer" and co-opt a National Tragedy for his own political gain. Well, can't blame them for thinking that. One of their own mastered the technique.
