All of you guys did a terrific job and I'm very jealous. One thing has been a worry to me though. The little visit by T. McAwful. Why? It makes me nervous when any dim-ocrat takes too much interest in FR. They don't sanction any conservative organization getting too powerful. Look at the attack on Rush and FOX News. Believe me, they will try to find ways to shut us down. We need to be aware of that and watch our backs. That evil man showing up at our booths was not an accident. Be vigilant.

Thanks for the sound advice and we will try. Sooner or later we are going to get targeted beyond the Post/Times lawsuit. No sense bringing on unnecessary trouble, but, we're not going to hide from anyone either.

Shutting Rush down didn't work so they got the idea to find a "liberal Rush." Their idea with Free Republic is to find a "liberal Free Republic." DU is managed by Democratic operatives. One of the reasons FR has been so successful is that it is not controlled by any party operatives. We don't have to toe the party line or defend the indefensible. Can you imagine what FR would have been like if we had to extol Trent Lott's leadership instead of being able to criticize his squishiness? And if we all had to defend his statement at Senator Thurmond's birthday party? We would all sound as intellectually and morally bankrupt as the Clintonistas who defended Clinton at every turn.

So let's watch the DNC spend their hard-stolen money funding a "liberal Free Republic" and watch all the laptops and cell phones and everything that isn't nailed down be stolen!
