Patriotic Pets, Inc. was formed by a group of volunteers that felt an overwhelming desire to help our nation and the men and women fighting for our freedom. Many of the most prolific animal organizations have been releasing statements encouraging shelters to support military pet owners during this difficult time, including the ASPCA, The Humane Society of the United States and the National Animal Control Association. As pet owners and lovers ourselves, we wanted to develop an organization that would give service personnel peace of mind when it comes to their pets.
We have developed a system to register military pet owners, recruit temporary guardian homes and provide a process for matching the two. By providing this service, we hope to aid in the morale of our military pet owners. Best of all, when the owner returns from duty, they will have their faithful companions waiting on them!
FYI... If you would like to help or get more information, check it out and thanks in advance.

From the first thread, I sent the info out to a bunch of people.
Jesus said as we do unto the least of these, we do unto him ... Well, our military are the BEST. And they deserve our help with their beloved pets, for sure. God will bless those who are coordinating this effort, and he sure won't forget those who foster these critters either!

our local spca does this function as a part of their overall foster care program. suggest that folks check with their local spca before donating to an unproven program with such a narrow function.
