It is just SICKENING that in their pure desperation, now absolutely *everything* that happens - the horrible shuttle accident, oh, and let's see - global warming, an underheated cheeseburger at McDonald's, bulimia, anorexia, acne, bad hair days - WHATEVER, will now be politicized by the Dems. They keep screaming that they never get 'their message' out. We have all *heard* their message, and it's all blame, blame, blame, get power, screw the country. This is just unreal but certainly not unexpected. I blame yesterday's earthquakes on the tax cut - /sarcasm.
To: Howlin
Yes! But they sure have their DIEHARD followers!!!

Patriots? Give me a break. I re-post this to you here, re: your blind allegiance to the memo of Don Nelson (that you linked to) and your comment that he is a hero.
No.....until proven differently, Don Nelson is NOT a hero. You do NOT know the accuracy of his report. You just THINK you do.
To me, at this time, Don Nelson is no different than a Scott Ritter---in the early days of his rantings. And apparently, you think the same as you are completely, 100% convinced that all that Don Nelson says is the absolute truth. You need to learn the benefits of cognitive thinking and try developing some independent, analytical skills rather than reading something and KABOOM...it becomes YOUR truth.
I, at least, am willing to give the experts the time necessary to gather and analyze data. You are just rubberstamping without analyzing. One has to wonder if this is an "intellectual processing" problem on your part, or whether you just glom onto ANY theory that purports to discredit this administration(since the memo was sent to the WH)---and NASA.
I can't even feel sorry for you anymore.
End of repost.

" . . . 2000 inspection which found 3,500 wiring defects . . ."
Yesterday someone from NASA - responding to a question about the aging fleet - talked about a major re-wiring job on Columbia in 2002, yet this story makes it sound that the re-wiring issues were not addressed.

Do you get solicitation letters from Newsmax? Is it run by donations?

How low can they go? Clinton had people murdered. Is that low enough?
To: Indy Pendance
My local news media (who is of course, feed by the national ones) was even first blaming NASA and now it's Bush tonight, in a twisted way.
Dan Blather tonight is leading towards this being 'the end' of the space shuttle.
The overall media atitude is beyond scarey.

You summed it all up pretty succinctly!!!

Who is Jose Garcia?
To: TLBSHOW
Maybe I am, maybe I'm not... but the bottom line is, you have gone off the deep end these last few days, and for you that is some accompishment...

Who is Jose Garcia? He was the Deads front man. Oh wait.....:)
To: Steve_Seattle
Thanks for pointing that out. This is a hit piece, and it's only goal is to discredit the administration, and boost the dems in public favor.
To: Steve_Seattle
I think his job was to service the Shuttle after every flight - ya know, vaccum the floors, clean the zero-gravity toilets, restock the in-flight magazines and barf bags in the puches on the backs of the seats etc...

They are liberal shrills. What more can you expect? We can only work to expose them for what they are. And, it's working. Less and less people get their news from the alphabet.
To: Howlin
Is it run by donations?
I guess not. Just advertising. But I think there is part of it you can subscribe to if I'm not mistaken. Why was he sending e-mails to the person in reply #15, or #14? I forgot already and I've gotta git to the Post Office before 5:PM!!! CULater

"it took the DNC spin machine three days to get going . . ."
Wrong. Saturday afternoon, I heard a liberal talk show host in Seattle say, "Bush is too busy giving tax breaks to millionaires to spend anything on astronaut safety."
