Ignore that thing; it desperately wants us all to think he and ONLY he can find out the truth about EVERYTHING.

"Maybe they should have exited during launch."
The way I understand it, the wing damage was not suspected until the next day (after the launch) when NASA went through a (routine) frame-by-frame inspection of the launch film.

You're taking some of what he thinks should be his limelight!

Can you imagine the questions they could ask about Clinton? "Do you think that President Clinton could have spent more time working on shuttle safety if he wasn't distracted by a thing-snapping intern? Or spanking his monkey?"What they did do was turn it around and ask "Is President Clinton being distracted from his job by the harrassment of the office of the Independent Counsel that is looking into his personal life?".

Don't worry if the dems read it he is slamming them in the letter.
FYI
The letter will NEVER boost the rats! In fact the rats won't even use it. The only good that will come out of it will be the rats will go along and approve more money for NASA like the President wants. :>)

I do know the truth about that letter and have posted it here. Its a dead issue. The rats won't touch it for long. When they do they get burnt! NASA gets more money and improvemnts will result. With their feet to the fire.

I must not have been the only angry NewsMax reader! I just received this from NewsMax after my angry reply to their idiotic conspiracy theory:
We apologize for this... I have unsubscribed you per your request... but please, if you have a moment, take the time to read the following.
Headline: Apologies on Shuttle Story
A Note to NewsMax Readers
With our breaking news alert today we included a headlined story -- "Shuttle Cover-up?"
As it turned out, that was not a news story, but an opinion article. While NewsMax is committed to offering a diversity of opinion on the Web, even opinions we disagree with, we erred in not clearly marking this story as an OPINION COLUMN and not NEWS.
Additionally, the op-ed "Shuttle Cover-up?" does not reflect the editorial position of NewsMax and should not have been e-mailed to our readers.
We apologize in advance for any concerns our readers may have had about this story.
Moreover, we would like to share with you an opinion column by renowned radio host and former Army Colonel Geoff Metcalf that celebrates the courage of those brave Americans and the Israeli Colonel who died on the Columbia.
Our prayers, America's prayers, are with them and their families today.
Thank you for your understanding!

You totally ignore my point. Which is to WAIT AND SEE!
WHY........damn...don't you READ?......do you 100% assume that everything in Don Nelson's report is accurate? You have attached yourself to this report without using ANY analytical skills.
You play a good "I'm just a patriot" game-----but that is total B.S. I have seen you say that NASA is responsible for the deaths of these 7 astronauts. You are THAT convinced that one man's report is accurate.
But WHY?????? Where is the PROOF? We have one person's memo and you are ready to totally trash NASA and yes, even the administration, since the memo was sent to the WH.
You need help.

I'm almost as reluctant to pin this on Clinton as on Bush. Yes, Clinton reduced funding, but that was probably more reflected in fewer missions than in safety cutbacks. My unprofessional opinion is that the tiles were going to fail one of these days and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. NASA experts have described the tiles as the shuttle's "weakest link," and it was probably just a matter of time. The only "solution" would have been to start from scratch and design an entire new vehicle, and Congress probably wasn't going to do that no matter who was president.

Your wrong I cut a lot of slack on typos because I am guilty, when typing in haste, of typing one word when I mean another.
However, time and again you type "your" when you mean "you're", the contraction for "you are".
(So in that spirit I will point out you meant "Clinton Knew" in a previous post, NOT "Clinton new".)

The point is, if there had been an escape pod, it could have been used before entering the atmosphere. So yes, Ari should just shut up. An escape pod should have been a requirement from design day one. I'm not faulting NASA today, but some of this tripe is distrubing to listen to. As for Bush being at fault, who in their right mind would buy into that stuff? Clinton gets close to a decade to run the nation and does nothing, but Bush once got a letter... Sheesh!
To: DoughtyOne
the letter bashes Clintons NASA team! LOL
