Well, I was part of a recent incident that supports Ms. Lundstrom's suggestion that some are going overboard in their accusations. At the most recent CPAC conference, a worker from the American Life League Booth went on a rampage, yelling at The TV just after President Bush made his Columbia Disaster speach. The American Life League person was saying that President Bush was a "liberal" because he was morning 7 astronuat lives and said nothing about the thousands of babies killed by abortion. This person was engaged in argument by myself and others who indicated he was way out of line. We claimed that this was not an appropriate opportunity to raise this issue. President Bush is Pro-Life, and he is not "a liberal" as indicated by the American Life League person. While I am also a Catholic and a Pro-Life advocate, I cannot stand by when someone makes such outrageous statements. I told the person from ALL that Bush is not King Bush, he is President Bush and he can't just make laws on his own.

Heck, if I was there I may have joined you. Yes, there is a place for debate, but we don't attack our own.

President Bush has been the most pro-life President we have had in years. He has been more forthright in his statements against the Culture of Death ... and he's used that phrase repeatedly.

Ending abortion is partly about changing laws, but mostly about changing the hearts and minds of the American people. Through respectful conversation, prayer, perseverance, hope and the mercy of God our Father, we can and will stem the tide.

Make no mistake about it ... abortion must and should be illegal. There is no moral justification for killing the most innocent in society for convenience sake. But at the same time, this is a multi-front war and there is a time and place for anger, and for love.

President Bush has been a rock for Life, and I commend him.
