Recall that Hillary claimed a Jewish grandfather when she ran for the Senate to woo the Jewish vote in NY. Turned out he was a stepgrandfather.
My best guess is that at this moment it looks like campaign money might be a bit short for Democratic candidates and any leg up you can get is bound to help.
Can't wait for Sharpton to find a Jewish grandmother.
