It does happen all the time here. Look at this:

Totally agree. It's the first place I go.
I think her site loses a lot by the strict rules against addressing other posts or posters which really cuts down on good discussion. Of course, it also eliminates the kind of fights we have around here sometimes.
But I'll take the discussion anyway, and put up with the fights.
P.S. I have a hard time understanding the bitterness some Freepers have towards Trixie. She started here, she moved on, two conservative sites are better than one.

I migrated to FR from the old Michael Reagan forum, myself.
But that was still in time to witness trixie's disingenuous hissy-fit she used to justify launching her own forum...
Then there were all those lengthy Life Boat threads for the L-Dot refugees...
Memories....
Still, it was nice that she gave credit where credit is due... this time.
And considering some of the other ongoing feuds, I'm a little surprised to learn she's still up and running. Hadn't seen much in a while.
Can't even find my old bookmark. Must've been quite a few browser versions ago.

I was banned promptly from Lucianne. I even posted and the posts never showed up. I never addressed any other posters but there it is.
Most of the reponses on Luci are of the "Me too" variety. They lack the passion of this place.

I would have banned you too. Just look at yourself.
To: Willie Green
Yeah, I'll never trust her, I don't care how conservative she claims to be. JR graciously forgave her, but I don't have to.

That was the first thing I read this morning. I thought it was sweet.
I do most of my posting here. But I like the way Trixie sets up the headlines of the day.
Generally I go to Drudge, Lucianne, then finish my coffee and spend the rest of my day here.

If you're serious, it's Lucianne Goldberg, Mother of Jonah (National Review Online) and friend of Linda Tripp.
Formerly a Freeper, AKA Trixie. There was a falling out, she started Lucianne.com.
All ancient history by internet standards.

I would imagine leadpenny's post is the one she is talking about.Leadpenny is the Freeper of the year. Heck, the century, if not the millennium.
I have saved the source for the first 150 posts. It's spooky, and will get more so.
Reminds me of my son on the streets of midtown Manhattan calling home (Florida) on 911 to find out what's on fire.

I have a hard time understanding the bitterness some Freepers have towards Trixie. You're poster number 33, one of the earliest FReepers. You've been here a LONG time. You don't know the whole history of what went on?
To: AppyPappy
I was banned promptly from Lucianne. Spodefly posts at FR and Lucianne, and is loved by all ... ;)
