I've looked all over the internet at criticisms of Tony Campolo (and there are plenty), but specifically identify him as proabortion. On many other issues there are specific quotes, but the only references to abortion are his association with Clinton and Clinton's support of abortion. In fact, there are quotes of Campolo from early in Clinton's presidency in which he comments that he differs from Clinton on abortion. Clinton's boyhood pastor is recognized as using the "breath of life" argument.

Unless Campolo has changed his view in recent years, I would be very surprised if he was proabortion. He's not shy about stating his views, and his critics are quite skilled at finding these kinds of quotes. I don't have access to his books, but if you find a specific reference, I would be interested in it.

Unless the critics of Campolo cared much about abortion, they wouldn't dig up his pro-abortion arguments. I read the one I mentioned in a book of his published within the last four years. I read it standing in a bookstore. I looked him up because I knew he was the guy in the famous laughing video taken outside the Ron Brown memorial service. BTW: Rush said they put lip-readers to work on the video, and were not able to repeat what was being said.

I know what I read, in Campolo's own book. He is a Scripture-twister, and is pro-abortion.

Well, he's got a slight problem, even with that contorted rational. Because the baby actually breathes in utero.

And once again the question arises; just who, exactly, is perpetuating the "racial divide"?

Jesse Jackson: "Mr Bush is causing a division between the white people and the brown people."

yeah, right Jesse. Its all Bush's fault.

What you said, :).

I've never really understood how thin the line was between reality and what some think they know.
