A few days before the Columbia was lost there were four crew killed in a Blackhawk helicopter crash in Afghanistan,, the story got a thirty second mention on the news,, no flag at half staff, no interviews of the relatives , no lookback of their life,, no memorial, no memorial services for television, we don't even know their names. These brave heroes who were protecting our freedoms and our very lives were forgotten in less than a minute. With the 24/7 coverage that the shuttle story will cover(and they are already driving this story into the ground), it's too bad our soldiers and their lives couldn't have been be more appreciated...

Please, cut it out. We love and miss our service men. And I prayed for them and their families. But at this time, let us enjoy in peace and have a moment of tranquility as we grieve for these astronauts and their families.
Give us a moment to rest on the Lord.
Scott, an incredible site. Thank you for your exceptional work. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you always.

You're right, our soldiers need to be remembered.
I get letters from military chaplains wanting inspirational multi-media materials to encourage men and women on our bases. I have a policy of sending them free presentations from my site.
If there are any chaplains or counsellors out there reading this, please contact me @
