Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the reason why we are going to take Saddam's (and hopefully a few more despots) out because there's a world-wide terrorist bombing campaign already going on?

You're correct .. but before Saddam was trying to tell everyone that he was a warm fuzzy guy that wouldn't hurt anyone
Now he's openly threatening the whole world ..
