The logical conclusion to that situation is they might as well BECOME racist.

No, that would be the emotional reaction. It's understandable, but still wrong.

I agree. To me, as I read from a columnist recently, I have no reason to be concerned with discrimination, because the federal government took over that chore in 1965.
Further, since that same government mandated as of 1965 that I as a white will be discriminated against, I've got bigger issues to deal with than to worry about blacks or any other minority.
That's my logical conclusion. I'm not racist, but I have my own life to worry about.
