There's something I vaguely remember reading about, but I didn't bookmark. In the second half of the Clinton regime, he helped Tyson's gobble up some smaller meat packers/producers. Someone here said that with the deal, about 90% of America's meat production would be in the hands of one or two big producers.Maybe someone here has the link , or will remember more about that deal.
Oh,I do remember this : The POS/WJC said, in December 2000, that he thought it would be a good idea if America quit farming and growing crops, and would just import all its grains, vegetables, and fruits. He said Thirs World countries could do it cheaper andmore efficiently, and they needed the money.
